Raphael: (Studying for Mid-Term.)

Leslie (One of Emily's 4 Roommates): (Walks into kitchen.) Hey Raph, do you want some pasta?

Raphael: Sure. (Expecting Leslie to make it for him.)

Leslie: Raph... I'm not making it for you.

Raphael: Oh.

Leslie: Here you go. You can make it yourself. (Passes me the noodles)

Raphael: Leslie... I don't know how to make pasta. I only know how to microwave.

Leslie: Oh gosh. Come here, I'll teach you.

Raphael: (Scared) You sure...? Is it hard?

Leslie: It's really easy. (Fills up a bowl with water and puts it on the stove.) Wait until it starts boiling.

Raphael: Okay... I don't want to get burned.

Leslie: Don't worry, it'll be fine.

(A couple minutes pass. The water starts to fizzle.)

Raphael: Leslie, I think the water's boiling.

Leslie: No, it's not. Keep on waiting.

Raphael: Okay.

(Waters starts to boil)

Raphael: The water's boiling, Leslie.

Leslie: Now, get a chunk of the noodles and put it in.

Raphael: Okay. (Grabs a chunk and slowly drops it in the boiling water.)

Leslie: Good job! Now grab this chopstick and start swirling the noodles but make sure it doesn't stick to the bottom.

Raphael: (Scared...) Okay...

(A minute later)

Raphael: Okay, now do I put this in the plate?

Leslie: Yeah, but you have to first drain the water out into the sink.

Raphael: Oh, yeah. Right.

Leslie: Now, go pour the noodles out onto the plate and get the Prego sauce out of the refrigerator. You spread the sauce around the pasta, and you microwave for 2 minutes. And you're done!

Raphael: Yay!

My Conclusions:
- My pasta tasted great!
- Cooking is hard!
- My respect for people (especially females) who cook has increased 100 times!
